Full Job Description
Controls steam cooker and grinding machines to reduce wood chips to felt (fiber): Installs and adjusts grinding plates, using rule and handtools. Starts machines and conveyors and regulates steam pressure, cooking temperature, and spray or flow of water, wax, resin, and material. Observes cooking, grinding, and felting of material, pressure and temperature gauges, and flow and moisture charts to ensure that material is processed according to specifications.
